Rembrants Brush is owned an operated by Dan Lessard. He has been drawing and painting as far back as he can remember, but it wasn't till 1992 that Dan picked up an airbrush for the first time. After a short time of studying under Dawn Copland of Windsor, Dan was on his way to commissioning great works of art himself. Although originally a part time job on the side, Rembrants Brush has been growing steadily with an ever increasing base of more-than-satisfied customers. Today Rembrants Brush is no longer a part time thing, but is now Dan's full time job and passion. Customizing goalie masks and helmets, doing portraits, painting large and small murals, and together with Goatz Custom Paints and Randy from Fantastic Finishes they are doing all types of fabrication to bikes and cars.

Some of Dan's past (and possibly future) clients have included; Roman Wrestler, The Ultimate Fighting Champion "Dave Beneteau", General Motors of Canada, Peregrine Inc., Southfield Michigan, Town of Tecumseh (Ontario), Town of Essex, Nike/Bauer, Mission/Itech, Reebok, Garth Brooks, Pro Choice goalie masks, Warwick goalie masks, San Jose Sharks, Montreal Canadiens, Philadelphia Flyers, Florida Panthers, Ottawa Senators, Carolina Hurricanes and many other N.H.L. affiliates.

Daniel Lessard, born in the Windsor area. “I grew up in the town of Tecumseh and presently reside there. My wife Penny and I have 5 children, Jake, Avery, Gabriel, Quinn and Noah. I have been painting and drawing since I was 4 years old according to my mother. In 1992 a friend convinced me to try an airbrush; I fell in love with the tool. Facing a layoff at the time I figured that if I could master the airbrush, I could have a cushion to fall back on when the layoff took effect. That lay off was a short one, but long enough to get me rocking with my airbrush. Before I knew it, I had people calling me to come and do work for them. Seven years later I was laid off again and this time my confidence in returning to my job is non-existent. So this time around I decided to make a serious go of Rembrant's Brush Custom Painting and Illustrations. I paint everything including goalie masks, Harley's, snow boards, helmets, T-shirts, guitars and any size murals.
